Dates of Arkansas House service

This entry says "He served as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1871 to 1881." but I just added a composite photo of 1885 members that includes a W. M. Fishback. FloridaArmy (talk) 15:37, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Governorship

There is very little about his election as governor and tenure. Was he a Fusion candidate? Democrats had dominate politcs in Southern states for many years (decades), how did he get elected? What did he do in office? Why didn't he run for re-election? Who succeeded him? What events did he face and policies did he implement as governor? Also, what were his party affiliations? It seems he was not a Democrat when he was a Unionist and in the Union Army but in the Arkansas House in 1885 he is listed as one. FloridaArmy (talk) 15:48, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
