Veterans Day

Brothers,

Ninety-nine years ago today, World War I ended.

On this day set aside to salute veterans, I would like to give my personal thanks and the thanks of the Department to those of you who have served our country. I/we are humbly grateful for your sacrifice in preserving our freedom and that of future generations. A heartfelt Happy Veteran’s Day!

All brothers who have served are eligible for the Order’s War or Military Service medals. If you are eligible and do not have one of these tangible awards of appreciation, please contact the Department War Medals Officer, Norman Crowe.

Again, thank you for preserving our freedom. Enjoy this day to honor you.

In Fraternity, Charity and Loyalty,
Rex Griffin, Commander
Department of Oklahoma, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War
